Sledding

 We had lots of snow for a couple weeks, and we took Emily sledding in the backyard.  There is a hill, just big enough for a little girl.  Her little sled wouldn't go down on its own, so her daddy usually pulled her down the hill.




And, of course, the true sign of having fun in the snow is the crying when we go inside.  We consoled her with chocolate milk, but sledding is definitely one of Emily's favorite things to do in the winter.

    That is a great sled and Emily is quite happy when it gets taken out for a run; the part about riding it up hill seems to please her just as much.

    Those are great pictures! That hill is pretty perfect for little girls it seems. Chocolate milk would make me feel better!!

    I wish we had gotten pictures of Hallie and Emily sledding when we were all out there together.

    I don't think I took a single picture on my camera while we in MI. I'm so mad at myself about that.

    BUT you guys look beautiful! I love that picture of you and Dan, and the one of Emily on the sled.
