Apartment Shopping

Dan and I are looking for a new apartment. I put together a list of apartments I found on the web, and we started touring apartments this past week. We ended up spending most of our afternoons looking at apartments. The first couple days, Emily slept through the tours, and was very good. The last day we went, she rebelled. At some point, staying in her car seat was just too much. And she was hungry. I had forgotten to bring a bottle, not having needed one yet that week, so I had to nurse in the car. So that was a first. While she was spending some quality time not in her car seat, we took these pictures:

Oops! She fell sideways

Trying again

We've seen a bunch of apartments. Most of them are not in our ward, so we will probably be leaving our current ward, which is sad. I really like our current ward. It is small, but the members are earnest and very friendly, for the most part. Dan's cousin, Earl, owns a duplex, and we might end up moving there. He has said we will be able to decorate and landscape, which is a huge draw. And it has a huge dining room, which is very important to me, since we have a large dining room table I love. But our contract is up at the end of June, and he might rent it before then. So we might actually have to choose one of the other apartments.

  1. Good luck finding a place! Looking for a place to live is the least fun of all.

  2. Hehe she looks so cute! Good luck with finding a place! I kind of disagree with Amy and think that it is kind of fun to look for a place to live! :) So exciting! Dreams to plan! I guess the main indicator of funness is whether you like what you end up with, so in that way it might not be super fun.
