1. At church today, someone had a birthday. And I got cake.
2. Emily learned how to say Mommy.
3. Over the years I've learned patience (I hope), which helps with the frequent "mommy mommy mommy" I now hear.
4. My mom letting me stay at her house this weekend, even though I live half an hour away, and she already had several other kids staying at her house.
5. The gospel.
6. Nice people. Especially nice people in our new ward, since meeting new people at church usually makes me anxious.
7. My sister-in-law, whose family's theory on Thanksgiving is "err on the side of too much food," which means I got to eat leftovers for two days at my mom's house.
8. Friends.
9. Family, immediate and extended. And weird. Sometimes this also means more fun.
10. Creativity. Which means that I can think of the wood walls in my new home as "Scandinavian" instead of "scary cabin where the axe murderer lives".
lol - love the creativity. Glad you had a good Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like a nice Thanksgiving! And yay for cake at church! :)
ReplyDeleteCute new Christmas background.
What, there were only two days worth of leftovers? Or is it that those are the only two days you went to Staerling Heights?
ReplyDeleteThere was not as much leftover macaroni and cheese as I would have hoped, but it does show that Tlazoh and Jesse know good food when they see it.
