Eyes

I am now the proud owner of a years supply of contact lenses.  I got my eyes checked this Monday and picked up my contacts yesterday.  The doctor took a bunch of pictures of my eyes, and then showed them to me while he told me if my eyes are healthy (they are).  The only thing he was concerned about was the veins at the back of my eyes.  If you have high blood pressure, they get wiggly.  Mine are wiggly.  Since my blood pressure was checked all the time at the hospital and when I was pregnant, and it was always great, I was pretty sure that wasn't the problem.  I asked if anything else could cause the wiggly veins, and he said that he sees it in body builders, from straining.  So, I figure the wiggly veins are from pushing out a baby.

Also, the doctor will check my blood pressure in a month when I go back.


While Dan was waiting with the babies during my eye exam (after they went to Subways), she tried on some glasses.  She looked pretty cute.  Which is good, since she may need glasses some day, given her family history.
