Friday evening, Tabitha was being her usual cheerful self. Of course, her cheerful self has been very droolly lately, and she's been stuffing things into her mouth like a fiend. Fingers, toys, blankets, and any part of her clothes she can lift to her mouth have all gotten some time. She was lying on my lap, chewing on my finger, when I felt something a little hard. And then felt it again, and again, and then peered into her mouth, trying to catch a glimpse of her first little tooth. And there it was, just barely peeking out from her gum.

okay, you have to look really close, but it's there |
It had crossed my mind that she was probably teething, but I figured it would take a little longer to get her first tooth. Her sister teethed on my car keys, when she was about a month older. Tabitha started drooling when we visited Amy a couple weeks ago. I figured we were in for a month of drool before we got some teeth. Apparently, Tabitha doesn't like to hang around waiting; she likes to get things done.
Drool on! :)
