Autumn Flowers

April showers bring May flowers, right?  Well, this year a wet spring pushed back the start of the flower season.  The summer was hot and dry, but the flowers kept on coming.  And while some of the plants are following the cooler weather and starting to drop their blooms, we still have lots of flowers going strong.  The mums and cosmos just bloomed (the cosmos grew late this year), but many of these flowers have been around for the long haul.  And they seem to be determined to stay as long as possible.

  1. I love flowers that just won't quit. My marigolds and roses are still blooming and they make me so happy.

  2. Hurrah for flowers, and for photo's that can set them up in such a lovely aspect.

  3. So beautiful! I still have two blooms in my yard (like two types of flowering plants), and it makes me very happy to see them. My salvia is kind of taking over. :)
