So, Dan and I need more cash. He's working part time, but that's not enough to pay all the bills, much less buy Emily lots of pretty clothes or finance my sewing habit. So, I've been resisting getting a job, because I want to stay home with Emily, and Dan's been saying (probably since before she was born) why don't you get a job that you can do at home, to which I always told him, there are no jobs like that, not really.
Well, I finally gave in, and am looking into getting a job at home. Turns out you can make good money stuffing envelopes. One place told me that I can make $4 an envelope. You do 500-1000 a week, which turns into really good money. Another place says they pay $12 an envelope. I am getting info from a bunch of places sent to me (and not just envelope people, either, also making crafts at home, and I think something else), and then we will see if it really is as good as it sounds.
But, $4 an envelope, 500 envelopes a week, is about $96,000 a year, if you do it every week. That's good money.
Alot better than what Dan is making at his job.
Alot better than what I made working full time at an office.
Hee hee.
It could be a scam.
Dang.
Still, there is potential. Visions of fabric and new furniture are dancing through my head.
One of my friend's moms stuffed envelopes from her house for years when I was in MS/HS. I'll call her and ask her what the company's name was.
ReplyDeleteI called my friend's mom. She did it for a friend who had a publishing company and enjoyed it. She says there are a lot of scams though, so be careful. Sorry that she hadn't done it for one of the online companies, so I could recommend one to you. :(
ReplyDeleteIf you are interested in doing what I do, you can let me know. I don't know if the pay is worth the time, but I enjoy it, so it makes it okay even if I don't make much if you do the hourly math.
So, it's up to you. The website to apply is http://hitfreelance.com. I don't know if they're hiring right now, but apply any way because it's always open for applicants, and I'll e-mail my manager to let him know you're applying. It's at least not a scam.
Mom could even lend you (probably) her USB headseat that she bought and now doesn't use for her job, so you wouldn't have to buy one of those.
