Emily likes walking around. Walking around with a purse over your arm is even better. Also, walking lets you reach things that Mommy and Daddy thought were out of reach, like things on the table or the third shelf in the pantry.
Emily likes climbing the stairs. She likes to climb the stairs and then hurry down the hall to Mommy and Daddy's room, where Daddy keeps a stash of chocolate next to his bed just in case he goes low.
Emily likes chocolate. She has discovered that you don't have to take off the foil to eat chocolate kisses--you just bite right through them, and then you have some foil to suck on once the chocolate is gone. Mommy tends to take the kiss away after your first bite, and now she closes her bedroom door more often.
Emily dislikes it when anyone goes into the bathroom and closes the door. If Mommy or Daddy closes the bathroom door, she starts to cry. She likes it when Mommy just lets her come in so she won't cry, and then she can play with all her bath toys.
Emily likes reading books. She likes to look at her picture books and tell Daddy all about them.
Emily likes to talk on the phone. Either the portable phones Mommy and Daddy use, or one of the remotes. Sometimes she likes to hand the phone to Mommy so she can talk, too.
Emily likes to play with the mouse and the keyboard, just like Mommy and Daddy do. Any guesses why?
Emily and Hallie are going to be best friends! Reading that, it literally could have been written about Hallie. I can't WAIT TO SEE YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!!
