So, I haven't blogged in quite some time. Part of that was the busyness of the holidays, and my sister visiting for 3 weeks. Emily loved having her Aunt Jeanie around.
Also, I got a job. I am working at JCPenney (yes, just like Daniel). We have the same job, except he is a permanent employee, and I am temporary. And he makes a dollar more an hour than I do. Maybe they will decide to keep me on after the holidays, which would be nice. I am only working a couple days a week, and I enjoy my job. Feeling sore for several days afterward, like I did early this week, not so much. But the job is fun, and most of the people I work with are great co-workers.
Emily also had a birthday, this past Monday. My parents came over on her birthday, and we are having a party for her tomorrow. I've been preparing for that, and I have also been making her a Cinderella dress to wear to it. Which I still need to finish. And I need to prep all the food. So I have lots to do.
Also, I have something exciting to announce next week. Any guesses?
I could guess ... but that wouldn't be fair would it? 'Cause I'm pretty sure I know what your good news is. I am very happy for you and Daniel! I can say that, right?
ReplyDeleteThe Publishers Clearinghouse people knocked on your door and gave you a million dollars?! Buy me a car, ok?
ReplyDeleteI have a guess that I don't dare type.
ReplyDeleteHere is a guess I do dare share: you're working on some new fantastic sewing project. Like helping my mom figure out how to make that jumper that doesn't fit me into a skirt that does fit me.
And, after reading Amy's, the Publishing Clearinghouse mailed me some drill bits the other day. I think Gigi won them. How fun! Jeff was excited. :)
I'm posting after your subsequent post shared your great news.
ReplyDeleteI'm writing to say how much I enjoyed Emily's third birthday smash.
Emily was a rascal for not wearing her princess dress, but she had so much fun with her friends.
Great party Mom and Dad!
