Christmas Preparations

We've been getting ready for the season.  Our tree went up right after Thanksgiving.  And the nativity set followed soon after, this year on the piano.  We've got lots of presents wrapped under the tree.  Emily helped me, especially with the ones for her Aunt Jeanie.  Aunt Jeanie HAD to have one wrapped up in the princess wrapping paper, with the biggest red bow we had stuck on top.

I've also been busy sewing away.  I made us some Christmas pillowcases.  I got the idea from one of the blogs I love to read, MADE.   And yesterday I made Emily a robe, out of a robe I don't wear.  I'd been planning on making it for her for a couple months, and yesterday I finally did it.  She will wear it if I am also wearing a robe.

And finally, Emily helped me with my blog this morning.  She is quite the little typist.  I got her to type her name, but then she deleted it (completely accidentally).
